Renee was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Memphis, TN. She studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and H.B. Studios in New York. She started performing stand-up comedy when on a whim, she booked herself at the New York Comedy Club, did her 10 minutes, and was hooked. Renee began touring professionally across the US and Canada. Stand-up eventually brought her to Los Angeles, where she met her husband, director Alex Bram. Together, Pezzotta-Bram Productions have produced several award -winning films including the 2009 short "Body of Work" and the feature documentary "By the Side of the Road: 911 in America" which was also directed by Renee. She is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA, and AEA and has a BA in Instructional Design and a Master's Degree in Training and Leadership.
